Dr. Chinyere Almona is the Director-General/Chief Executive Officer at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the foremost Chamber of Commerce in the region. She is a governance professional with vast global experience in establishing standards and enhancing investment opportunities for companies.
Dr. Almona has about thirty years of diversified experience in various roles. She founded Vantage Governance Services with an extensive professional network across Africa. She led the Africa Corporate Governance Program of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), which provided a wide range of corporate governance reforms across thirteen (13) African countries. Before joining the IFC, Dr. Almona was a Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers, leading the Corporate Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Practice, which she established.
Dr. Almona was one of the 40 Top Women from across Africa on the 2020 African Women in Banking and Finance Awards list. She was on the 50 Women in Management Africa (WIMA) 2022 Award list, and she also made the list of 50 Inspiring Nigerian Women.
Dr. Taiwo Nolas-Alausa is the Director of Business Education Services and Training (BEST) at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He is a seasoned Facilitator, Examiner, Consultant, and Consummate Academic. He was once an Assessor in Business Communications and Research for the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) as well as an Associate Lecturer in the Department of English, Lagos State University. He was with Globacom Nigeria Limited Training and Development Team as a Training Specialist for Seven years.
He managed Learning & Skills Development for Ison BPO International Nigeria Limited in Ibadan where he also oversaw Training delivery for key portfolios like Airtel NG, Spectranet NG, Union Bank Nigeria, Girls Effect, and AIICO Insurance. His trade has taken him all over the continent of Africa.
With a Doctorate in English and Comparative literature, Dr Taiwo has handled numerous Training programs across different sectors such as Telecoms, Oil & Gas, Education, Consulting, Entertainment, Insurance, Small-Medium, and large-scale companies. Also holds the unique privilege to have been part of training delivery services in Nigeria’s 3 foremost telecom operators (GLO, AIRTEL, and MTN).
Abosede Okeyemi is the Director of Membership Relations at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce & Industry. She is a dynamic result driven sales strategist with over 16 years of record of achievements and demonstrated success driving multi-million Naira revenue growth while providing visionary sales leadership in highly competitive markets and leading a team of over 20 sales, projects, and technical staff.

Sunnie Omeiza-Michael is the Director, Research & Advocacy at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce & Industry. He is an economist, sustainable development researcher, trade policy analyst, and management systems auditor with a master’s degree in economics from the University of Lagos, a Post-Graduate Certificate in International Trade from the University of Adelaide (Australia), and a doctoral student in Sustainable Development at the Euclid University (a UN Treaty Institution).
Before now, Sunnie was the Senior Economist at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI) for almost a decade. He was promoted as an assistant director and transferred to head the Trade Promotion department, where he functioned for three years. During his tenure at the Trade Promotion Department, he achieved many milestones as project lead for the Lagos International Trade Fair and ICTEL Expo. He also led the team that conceptualized and launched the Lagos Solar Fair in 2021.
Previously, he worked as an Economic and Business Analyst at BusinessDay Media Limited (publishers of BusinessDay Newspapers). He also worked as Senior Manager, Research & Publications at Research & Data Services (REDASEL) between 1998 and 2006. He led a successful advocacy campaign for the Central Bank of Nigeria’s (CBN) cashless policy and attracted funding worth N4.3million from the CBN in 2013.
Temitayo leads the Chamber's administrative department; saddled with the responsibility for overseeing the company's procurement, facilities, fleet
management and marquee rental operations.
Before joining LCCI in February 2015, Temitayo served as Head of Operations
at Compass Relocation Managers (Sub Sahara Region) where she was responsible
for the company's operational growth with operational expansions from 2 to 7
African Countries. She also worked at Lloyd Anderson, a leading international Facility Management Organisation.
Prior to that, Temitayo worked with the Lagos Business School, from 2003 to
2010 where she rose through the ranks from a Programme Coordinator to the
Head of Programmes and Planning.
Temitayo is a graduate from the prestigious University of Lagos and Certified Project Management Professional.
Alaba is the General Manager of the Human Resources department at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce & Industry. He is an innovative and excellence-driven Human Resources and Management Professional with over 15 years' experience cutting across financial services, outsourcing, consultancy, trading, ISO/QMS auditing, policy and advocacy, trade fairs, exhibitions, business education, services, and training, among others.
He worked at CETEP City University in managing employees before joining Servtrust Group as the Group Head of Human Resources. He was a Senior Management Staff of Servtrust Group. As the Management Representative and Coordinator of the Quality Management System, his efforts are part of what made the Chamber now ISO 9001:2015 certified by Bureau Veritas Certification, an international and reputable certifying body for Quality Management System.
Alaba obtained his first degree from AdekunleAjasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State with master's degree from the University of Lagos. He is a Fellow, Chartered Institute of Leadership and Governance, United States (FCILG), Fellow, Institute of Strategic Management of Nigeria(FSM), Fellow Institute of Management Specialist, United Kingdom (FIMS) and Member, Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-United States). Professional Member, Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (MCIPM), Professional Diploma in Human Resources Management (PDHRM), Licensed Human Resources Practitioner (HRPL), QMS ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certified by CQI/IRCA, Fellow, Institute of Management Consultants(FIMC) and a Certified Management Consultant amongst others.
Kemi Sobayo is a highly motivated finance and corporate service professional with an analytical mind, persuasive communication skill and high emotional intelligence. She is a professional Accountant with over 15 years of experience that cuts across various organizations and industries such as Consulting, Manufacturing, FMCG, Not for Profit making organization among others.
She started her career with Audit and Assurance, spending a number of years probing the facts behind figures. From Auditing, trained in information technology as it relates to automation and application of accounting software and other ERPs including Tally, Navision, Sage Evolution and SAP. Also, spent years in training and consultancy, reporting for a number of operations across Africa including Ghana, South Africa, Kenya and Nigeria. Her years of experience has sufficiently exposed her to almost all areas of corporate reporting, financial analysis, budgeting & budgetary control, cost reduction strategies, working capital management, credit control, payroll & tax management, investment appraisal and analysis among others.
Mayowa heads the Information Technology Department of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce & Industry. He is a Microsoft Certified Professional, a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer with the Security Option, Software Engineer, Linux Server Administrator, and Site Reliability Specialist.
He is responsible for implementing the IT governance framework of the Chamber and maintaining the goals and policies necessary for the IT department to support the company’s needs.
Additionally, he conducts research essential to recommend the selection of IT infrastructure, applications, and supplies for the Chamber.
Sunday Osanyituyi heads corporate communications at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He is a Public Relations and Strategic Communications professional with almost two decades of rich media experience. A former reporter with The Guardian Newspaper and Daily Independent Newspaper, Osanyintuyi served as senior media manager for Daystar Christian Centre and its affiliates companies for over ten years.
He also served as a senior media executive with SoulComm PR Agency, Lagos. He is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) Lagos. He also holds a certificate from PR Academy, United Kingdom.
