Challenges, Prospects and Raw Materials Demand in the Printing, Packaging & Publishing Industry

The Printing, Publishing and Allied Group (PPA) of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry presents a one-day national seminar with the Theme “Challenges, Prospects and Raw Materials Demand in the Printing,Packaging and Publishing Industry.”

The purpose of the workshop is to find a national solution to the high cost of paper and paper products in Nigeria. The current high cost of printing and related jobs is not unconnected with the daily rising cost of paper. Thus, it is imperative that a lasting solution be found. This can only be achieved by all stakeholders coming together to share perspectives of the way forward in solving the paper crisis problem.

The sub-themes of the workshop are as listed below:

Sub-Theme 1: Challenges in the pulp packaging sector (CIPPON)

Sub-Theme 2: Panacea to the pulp and paper mills sector challenges (Nixin Paper Mill)

Sub-Theme 3: Fibrous Raw Materials Availability and Needs Assessment of Nigerian Paper sector- Kenaf Association of Nigeria & Department of Forestry, Wildlife and Fisheries, College of Agricultural Sciences, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun state.
